Érico Moreira comes from a family of musicians and artists and has been in the world of music for a long time. At the age of 10, he accompanied his father, who was also a musician and composer Paraty-RJ.

At the age of 12, he moved to São Paulo, where he began working as a studio assistant for renowned producer Xuxa Levy. Later, at the age of 17, he dedicated himself mainly to the production of sound films for advertising, television and cinema, at the same time as he worked as a sound engineer.

At the age of 24, he recorded his first solo album entitled “Pindorama”, in which he played all the instruments and took care of the recording and mixing of the album. In 2007, he moved to Barcelona, where he joined Barcelona singer Sara Pi, to create a project that lasted 11 years, producing 3 albums, two of which were released on Sony Music Spain. In 2022, with a repertoire of more than 100 authored music, he returned to his solo project and released “Dentro da Matrix”, his second studio album.

You can be a musician, composer, performer, producer, composer, recording and mixing engineer or take on other functions. However, there are very rare cases of artists who manage to open up all these skills, such as the case of Érico Moreira, who assumed all these responsibilities when releasing his latest album, “Dentro da Matrix”. Not to mention that this album, produced completely independently, was nominated for the Latin Grammy 2022. Produced, composed and mixed by Érico, the album competed in the Best Gravity Engineering Album category. In the same category, we are responsible for acclaimed releases by Liniker (Zé Nigro and Gustavo Ruiz) and Antonio Adolfo (Marcelo Saboia), as well as influential pop star Rosalía (Manny Marroquin / Chris Gehringer).

After being nominated for the second consecutive time, Érico has just won a Latin Grammy in the category of Best Gravação Engineering Album. This time with the album “Canto a la Imaginación” by Catalan singer Marina Tuset, who was responsible for the production, recording and mixing with mastering done by engineer Felipe Tichauer.
